minPension is here to serve you

If you have been saving for a pension in Sweden, the minPension pension dashboard will help you figure out how much money you will receive once you retire. minPension is a collaboration between the state and the pension providers.

In English

To get started, you have to log in. All you need is an e-identification or a Bank ID.

We obtain information about your national public pension from the Pensions Agency and display it as soon as you log in. Meanwhile, we send an inquiry about your other pensions to the pension providers. Normally it takes one or two business days to compile all the information. We will let you know by e-mail when we are done.

Keep in mind that nobody has access to your information except you.

Your total pension

After you retire, your pension will come from several different places.

Your total pension will be made up of the following components:

  • National public pension
  • Occupational pension
  • Private pension

The minPension service provides an overview to help you determine how the various components will affect your total pension.

National public pension

A total of 18.5% of your wages and other taxable benefits is put into your national public pension account every year. Most of that amount goes to your income pension, while a small amount goes to your premium pension. If you have earned little or no income, you are entitled to a guaranteed pension. The details of your national public pension, which is managed by the Pensions Agency, are shown in the orange envelope that you receive once a year.

Occupational pension

In addition to your national public pension, you will probably receive some kind of occupational pension when you retire. An occupational pension is one for which your employer has paid premiums through the years. If you have information about your occupational pension that does not appear at minPension, you can easily add it.

Private pension

If you want to save for a private pension, you must take care of it yourself. Not all pension providers send information about private pension plans to minPension. If you have information about your private pension that does not appear at minPension, add it yourself so that you can obtain the most accurate forecast possible.

Your pension forecast at minPension

Your pension forecast is an estimate of your future pension. The forecast is based on how much pension you have earned so far, as well as how long you are going to keep working, the expected return on your pension savings, how well the Swedish economy does and other future developments.

minPension helps you gain an overview of how much money you will receive when you retire. You can experiment with different assumptions to see how your forecast changes. For instance, you can fill in different retirement ages or dates on which your pension will first be paid out.

It's a good idea to have all your pension statements handy when you log in so that you can add any missing information.

Under Questions and Answers, you will see the frequently asked questions that our customer service representatives receive. The link is at the top right-hand corner of the page. You are welcome to phone customer service at any time. You will be charged at ordinary telephone rates.
